Communication... Wow how it has evolved over the years. Once upon a time to get your message across the world you would construct a letter. Then in 1876 Alexander Graham Bell patented the first telephone. That technology changed the world and in the way we communicated. Now its the 21st century and our technology has taken just to a new platform. It has changed our society and the way we communicate today. Our interpersonal communication skills has taken several hit. I have noticed that we could rather hide behind our smartphones, tablets and computers to deliver our email, text and voice messages. Its a great and convenient technology, but it has taken away one of our basic human characteristic skill Face to Face Communication. I am a person that loves to talk... Matter of fact I get in trouble sometimes because I talk too much. I love talking to all different types of people and learning about different cultures. Thats me... When other people noticed that our face to face communication was hurting due to distance people have traveled away or the used of other technology to communicate, we developed video conferencing. This is a guilt technology (awesome though) to communication face to face with people over distance. It doesnt give you that physical present of that people, but it helps. Even I sometimes use technology too much, but I realize that people are important and communicating LIVE is something I plan on doing more. How about you?
