Comprimise for the Kalabond Grand Final _________________________________ Okay; let me see If I can take a neutral position with this debate. First of all, I respect the choice of the PNGNRL Committee and others involved in the decision to take the grand-final match to Kokopo for the very obvious reasons as outlined in the media release. The Wigman by now as I respectfully understand have a valid point to argue about when it comes to fairness with regards to the aspect of home ground participation . For obvious reasons; including supporter base, and spectator momentum in a grandfinal match that would give essence to their first ever grand-final participation. Therefore; I am proposing a Comprimise here for Consideration so that the Hela Wigman dont have to feel that their grand-final participation will be marginalised by home-ground and fan-based Support. Proposals: 1. The seating allocation at Kalabond must be equally split between Hela and Gurias. This mean irrespective of whether you are a Tolai or Non-Tolai; ENB Resident or Visitor, if you are allocated a Guria/Wigman seating; please support that team 2. Shool Cheer leaders should be distributed between two teams with one school each being organised to cheer for both teams. 3. The Agmark Gurias Corporate Box seating should also be co-shared between the Hela Sponsors and the Guria Sponsors 4. Sale of Merchandise at Kalabond should demonstrate an equal distribution of goods belonging to both the two Final Teams 5. Hotel Allocations-ENB Business houses must be patriotic to allow Kokopo Beach Bungalow and Rapopo to be the hosts for the Hela Wigman supporters and sponsors 6. Equal security has to be provided to both teams on and off-field 7. No, ENB or NGI Refree and Officials must officiate. Get the Southern Region and Momase Officials 8. And finnally; if the Grand-Final has to happen at Kalabond; the game must be deferred to August 31st, 2014 to give both teams ample preparation time In that way; ENB Province and the Agmark Administration can mantain their independence in demonstrating that the event was the sole outcome of a decision of virtue; while ensuring the highest intergrity in faciliating a balance approach in accommodating the 2014 Digicel Cup Grand-Final And on the other end; though the final has been moved to the opponent terrritory; Hela Wigman will feel that the match will be an isolated issue if the overall arrangement of how the event as prescribed above will unfold demonstrate neutrality and in every way possible; as such restoring their confidence in knowing that what could have been given to them in Lae will still be given in Kokopo. Then the overall match on Game-Day will only be a pure-demonstration of the best 13-men side who can endure a memorable 80-minute game...PEACE...#rp14
