Confession time.... I have grown quite fond of the Dr Phil Show. He seems to genuinely help very ill people, and is quite generous in arranging mental health assistance, counseling and life coaches to troubled people. I used to think he was merely a TV huckster and not a real doctor as many have said. The fact is he had a very long career as a forensic psychologist assisting the courts in Family Law. Simplistic yes, but he is a skilled interviewer who is quite adept at getting to the core of a problem. This show about a self-admitted narcissist brought tears to my eyes and the audience when her got to her to talk about her very real fear based underlying wound. youtu.be/Gs-lLR5AmdI
