Congratulations to Ship Wrecks of the River Humber. Today they received permission to start their Heritage Lottery Fund project that will train up 8 new volunteers in scuba diving and dive down to investigate the fishing fleet that became minesweepers in the First World War. The project starts on 4th August and Synergy Grimsby CIC be helping them to manage their project and set up a facebook page. We are calling for people who would like to volunteer their time in research, scuba diving and also people who may have had relatives involved in the minesweeping.
