Congratulations to the Mayor, counselors, and facilitators on the Charrette today. They pulled off what could have been a rancorous, contentious, ugly meeting, into a milestone of community and consensus. Bravo! And out of around 12 table proposals, none included huge waterfront buildings ( many considered something smaller to replace the visitors center). There was a lot more consensus than there was disagreement, and a lot of common sense...put an exclamation point on it!
