********Congregation Summer Day Picnic ******* Dear All, We are happy to announce our Congregation Summer day picnic that we have been looking forward to. As scheduled, our picnic programme God willing be organised on Saturday, 30th November 2013 & the details of the same as follows : Date & Time - Saturday 30th Nov 2013, at 8.30 A.M Starting Point - St. Brigids School Grounds, 2 Vickery Street, Gwynneville, Wollongong Mode of Transport - Air conditioned, Seat belted semi luxury coach Visiting attractions: - Sri Venkateswara temple, Helensburgh -( midway to Royal National Park ), a famous Hindu temple in southern hemisphere built in traditional Indian architecture style.The temple canteen offers hot & freshly made South Indian breakfast items,tea & coffee ( breakfast is optional as per each individuals choice) Royal National Park - offers facilities & activities like BBQ, bush walking, bird watching, wild life etc. Audley boat shed - we can hire rowing boats,canoes, kayaks & aqua bikes to paddle or row along Kangaroo creek Fishermans Bay/ Bonnie Vale Picnic area / Bundeena bay - offers activities like Fishing, whale watching, boating, BBQ etc. Wattamolla beach - plenty of opportunities for swimming, fishing, BBQ, beach sports etc. All these above locations are spread within a radius of 10-15 km and subject to the availability of time and weather conditions, we may choose to visit / skip some of them. Please bring beach / water sports & fishing equipment with you on the day.
