Conjunto of the Year Awards - an event of this magnitude is not an easy one to put on without coordination and lots of volunteer help. I would like to acknowledge and Thank everyone responsible for the success of this show. They included the following: At the door, our treasurer, Ben Gonzalez and the KCs; coordinating, assigning presenters, and getting the conjuntos off and on the stage, Polo Trejo, Joe Martin and Gilberto Lopez, Jr. (Chore); the decoration on the table, Belinda Cantu; stage decorations, Lupe Saenz and Polo sound system, Boy Lozano; TV crew: KMBH TV; script director, computer and music, Lupe Saenz; Awards scheduler, Rosa Rodriguez and Valerie Garcia. Thanks to Rick Garcia, Hacienda Records, Master of ceremonies. We also got help from Margie Cardenas and Hector Alaniz both traveled from San Antonio to help us out. Then, we also had some other ladies who helped put the decorations on the tables before the awards. And two professional models, Cristal Hernandez and Selena Gonzalez for Mc Allen (Thanks, Elda) to assist Rick Garcia on stage. Did I forget anyone? If I did thank you anyway. We could not have done without any of them. Mil Gracias... a thousand thank yous....
