Connecticut Childrens Medical Center Speech and Languages Farmington Office Speech Pathology and Therapy Department are rearranging their schedules yet again. This is getting ridiculous. Weve only been going there since August. Thats 8 months. First we dumped Queen Thursday after she cancelled four times on us. Then Melissa up n quit (2 cancels), then they move their office across the street (another cancel) and now it seems that 330 is no longer a valid appointment time??? So its 4:20 on wednesdays (no jokes from the MJ corner, please) and 4pm on fridays. However, Tairin, who hes finally got used to, and likes, and works hard for, IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR EITHER OF THOSE SESSIONS In fact, there is no single therapist available for both of the sessions, so we will once again have a girl wednesday and a girl friday, and they will be 2 different girls, and neither of them have seen us before. On the upside, Tairin (who we will probably see for the final time next wednesday) has started working on the F/V sound and the K/G sound, just started today, with some encouragement to try. sigh.
