Contemplating about the 2015 elections. I just think it is NOT going to happen soon on technical grounds, some of which have been already alluded to by the President earlier mid this year. These grounds in my view, include: 1. Finalising of the Permanent Constitution; 2. Conducting a comprehensive Census; 3. SPLM Convention to elect its leaders who will participate in the supposed 2015 Elections; 4. Issuance of National IDs to determine legitimate voters (National IDs holders to vote) and 5. Registration of voters. These are very important grounds that require financial resources and would inevitably delay the electoral process, and to be precise, you are looking at the earliest possible date of our first democratic elections in the Republic of South Sudan to be in late 2020 or more thereafter. Who doesnt agree with this point of view?
