Contrast Miliband with Salmond today. A young woman asked Miliband why we are spending billions on trident when she doesnt have a roof over her head. He walked away, totally blanking her. Contrast that with Alex Salmond, who took time, even though he was late already to answer the questions of a teenage Down Syndrome lad, who asked him what he was going to do for people with learning difficulties, he answered, as much as is humanly possible.
