Conversation with daughter this morning at 5.30am...meanwhile her LANA starts today for her. 10yr old - mum my madam said that if a test is out of 40 and you score 20 or more you pass and its very good. Self - yes thats true (not sure where this leading to) 10yr old (with big smile on her face) - mummy I pass my maths revision test. Can you sign my paper that youve seen it. Self - really daughter. See your revision has paid off. Bring ur paper. Side paper - 21/40%.....you can imagine what followed that...tamani big lecture about her poor performance, importance of studying - the full sermon at 5.30am this morning. Now for an hour of math revision under mums watchful eyes....shes not liking it at all.
