Conversations with God: Exhibitions...As a horse trainer, the word exhibition is a common practice for seasoning a horse or correcting problems. You can enter the exhibition and go fast or slow. The exhibition is for practice only and there are no prizes or prize money to be won. During a conversation with my sister in law and mom, we discussed the difference between exhibitioning constantly and entering the open. You can be riding a super nice horse that out runs the open time but if youre not entered in the open, youre not entered. You can not claim the prize money. You can not claim that your horse is a money earner. You can claim that he is a nice horse. You can even claim he has clocked a fast time in the exhibition but you can not claim that he is a winner. As my relationship with God grows closer and stronger, He reveals to me how important salvation is to humanity and He also reveals to me how many people are entered in the exhibition only. Good deeds and good people are not the ones that will sit with Jesus at the side of God. Those that have accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior will be the ones that will enter into the gates of Heaven. As time grows nearer for the last trumpet to sound, my question to you is are you going to enter the exhibition for the rest of your life or are you entering in the open? Because the fact is you can enter the exhibition and out run the best horse at the show but if you are not entered....youre not entered and you wont collect the 1D paycheck. Being a good person, helping those in need, spreading joy, doing good deeds are all wonderful things but again I say that good deeds will not get you into Heaven. Enter up with me my friend if you havent already. Ask Jesus Christ into your heart today as your King and Savior by #1 admit that you are a sinner and ask for forgiveness, #2 believe that Jesus died on the cross for your sins and #3 confess Jesus as your Lord and Savior. Easy as ABC. Just remember that you dont have to have an nfr quality horse to enter a jackpot, thats what the divisional races are for. Your friend in Christ.
