Cool concept game art. (But crappy game I have heard...) On a side not to the costume designers of the films...plese bring back the following outfits: *Light Field Jackets (that can be worn over the uniforms - over even just over the undershirts. *Engineering Radiation Gear (makes sense that we added that in TMP and forward - then dropped it in TNG and after...though in the last movie there was something that looked like the robot cop in the first reboot movie, but all white - which I am assuming is a remote humaniod drone - which makes even MORE Sense in some situations - but still, when I am working around a reactor, and theres a breach and the cntainment fields develop a leak, I want protection. *Armor for the Redshirts/Security Guards - and people on combat or extremely dangerous Away Team Missions/Landing Parties/Whatever. Again, added them in TMO and the later movies - them dropped them again. (And at the point, we should *alos* have *Portable Shield Generators* as well. If Worf can make one out of a Combadge and old Telegraph parts - Starfleet should have them (for battles, and for brief hull evacuations - in conjunction with this little Portable Emergency Transproters. Also: *Some form of ST:V style Tactical/Assaut or even just Field Work Uniform - that can be worn UNDER the Security/Battle Armor. Look, it makes NO SENSE to send people into potentiol - even *planned* firefights with NO PROTECTION, with not 23rd/24h century version of a Bullet-Proof Vest. nuTrek DOES seem to use some versions of Mission-Specific Uniforms - something actually started in DS9 (sort of) and more developed in Enterprise with their Desert Field Gear. And we need a cold-weather equivelent ala the IG THICK Field Jackets that the Away Team used to expolre the Regula one station (why on a climate-controled space station!? I can olny assume for the same reason they used the BIG OL FIELD/Mil Spec/Industrectable Tricorder and Communictors - they could be facing failing life support conditions - and Kirk may have suspected in his review of the Genesis Report, that they MAY have to beam to an planetary-*type* location with an unknown climate. *A Lab-Tech Uniform. I miss those form the movies - though they seemed used mostly by civilians - TNG had a version worm by civilian lab workers and sometimes shipboard personal that could have been Starfleet, or just civilian personal working aboard. (Starfleet ship in the 24th century - pre-Borg and Pre-Dominion Wars, were floating cities - the E-D was basicslly a FLYING STARBASE - hence the children and famalies and civilian scientists and other support personal.) On to part 2... conceptartworld/?p=22931
