Cpl. David Abraham Seidel Abe passed from our arms into Gods on Sept 28, 2014 due to an accidental gunshot wound. Abe was born on November 15, 1987, in Overland Park, KS. Since Abe was four years old, he dreamed of being a Marine, and on July 2006 it became a reality, when he left for basic training, and became a Marine in September 2006. Abe has touched so many lives. He was born a protector and defender. He was passionate about life. Abes laugh was infectious and he was always willing to help. He had a very strong sense of family and taking care of each other. Abe loved being a Marine and he loved his marine brothers. Abe was preceded in death by His father, David Solomon Seidel, and his grandmother Willie Mae Downie. Abe left behind the woman that he gave his heart to his wife, Tatum, his beautiful blued-eyed baby girl (his words) Lauren Briella, his step daughter Chaselynne, his mother Laura, his step-dad Joel, his sister Alina, her husband Joshua, their children Evelyn, Lucas & Lila, Brother Chris, his wife Nicole their son Brandon, Ashley and her family. To name a few of the people that were touched by Abe: his Unkl John and all of his family, Mia, dear friends, Greg, Stefan, Shannnon C., Steve, James, cousin Hillarie, Grey, Alex¸ Shannon S. and all of his Marine Brothers. Abe also left behind many more family members and friends who he loved and they loved him... so many it would take days to name. Services will be held at the Leavenworth National Cemetary, 395 Biddle Blvd., Fort Leavenworth, KS. on Friday, Oct. 3rd, at 12:30pm. Please arrive no later than 12:15pm. There will be a memorial gathering held at the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Lodge #7397, located at 9550 Pflumm, Lenexa, KS between 2 and 5pm. The family requests no flowers.
