Credit goes to my sister: Thought I would share this awesome story! Once there was a man living alone, who goes to the field passing through a few gravestones on both side of the road. One day, right after he passed those gravestones, he heard someone called his name. He turns around and saw a very beautiful girl with black flowing hair to the waist. The girl was lost and asks if she could follow him to his village (the next village). He immediate agreed as it will soon be dark. When they got to his village, she then told him that she doesnt have any relative and if she can go home with him. He doesnt know what to respond to this, so, he allows her to go into his home. The next day she would not leave and goes everyday, after that, she will not leave and then one day she asked to be his wife and he agreed. So, the two became husband and wife. Every thing has been so good until one day the mans uncle from a distant village came by and decided to stop by to visit. When the uncle got to his house, he realized that the place is very neat and clean. He asks the man, Who helps you clean your house, it is so clean? The man said, My wife does the entire house cleaning, thats why my house is very tidy. To this, the uncle was quite surprise. “Son, wheres your wife?” The man said, “Shes sitting over there on the other door doing her needlework. The uncle lean over to look at the door and sees nothing. Instead, his hairs start to raise and he all of the sudden, he felt a cold chill run down his spine. He suddenly got up and said, Son, I must be going now. But Uncle said the man, You have just gotten here, stay a little while and I will have my wife come cook us dinner, and please spent the night here with us.”This, the uncle was more scare. The uncle said, I still have unfinished business at the neighbor five houses down, so I will have to go there before they sleep, so dont think too much. I am already happy seeing you living a good life. The uncle left and he went straight on home without stopping. When the uncle got home, the next day he immediately went to see a shaman about this. The shaman asks if the uncle could take him to see this man. So two days later the uncle and shaman set out again to pay this man a visit. When they got to the mans house, the man was alone. The uncle asks, Son, are you alone today? Yes, uncle, you have come back. Yes, I have come back, along with a companion. The man invited both uncle and shaman inside the house and he started preparing dinner for them. Along the way, the uncle ask again Son, where is daughter in law? Oh, daughter in law went out to pick greens for dinner tonight. The shaman then said Son, have you ever noticed anything unusual here in your house? The man said, No, its just me and my wife, whats there to be unusual about? The shaman then said, How do you see your house right now? Well, I see that my house is clean, I have rice cooked, and I am making noodles for us tonight. The shaman then said, Son, what I see is a run-down place, your rice are maggots, and the noodles you are about to boil are worms. Do you not see any of these? At this, the man got mad and starts cussing at the shaman Who do you think you are to say such things about my house and my nourishment! I dont think I should have to serve you anymore. Get out, right now before my wife comes home. She doesnt need to know that you guys have such horrible attitudes! The shaman then turns to whisper to the uncle We will do whatever we can to stay here until the wife comes back. Once the wife comes back, you will hold this son back and dont let him utter a word of distraction while I turn this ghost away. The uncle agreed. The two lingered on and on until finally, they hear a womans voice Who are you talking to husband? from outside. Right then the uncle jumped at the man and wrestle him down and bind his hand together and tie his mouth with a cloth. The shaman then utters some words in whisper; then claps his hands two times, stomp his feet two times, and then a sound of thunder were heard on a clear day. Right after the thunder die, the man open his eyes and look around and saw that the three of them were on a horrifying burnt down hut and dried leaves were blown here and there and maggots everywhere. The mans eyes widen but he couldnt scream because his mouth was bind with a cloth, but he was scare. Outside he could see a half-rotten corpse wandering around the hut, half of her hair on one side of her head was torn off leaving only a bloody scalp, and one of her eye ball was hanging out half-rotten. Every time when the corpse moves around, some maggots would fall off her skin. Her other eye thats still in her socket kept looking into the hut and she kept on saying husband, husband, where are you? I just heard you now, where are you hiding? The shaman turned to the uncle and the man and motion for them to be in complete quiet. After a while, the corpse walk away wailing until her wailing was fainting towards the gravestones down the road to the field. The shaman and uncle then untie the man and the shaman said Son, you must have traveled the path passing through those gravestones all the time and those ghosts must have watched you everyday until one decided to follow you home and have started to eat your soul slowly. Lucky that your uncle came visit you unexpectedly. Otherwise, you could have been a living corpse and rotten away. She will come back to look for you. You must go with us to our village and I will change your name so she will never be able to find you again. So, the three left quickly to the uncle and shamans village where the shaman then changed the mans name. As for the ghost, it did came back to look for the man for many days and nights at the same broken-down hut, but couldnt find him anywhere so she stopped. The End.
