Crossover Ministry’s Mission Statement: Our mission is to provide a Christian recovery solution for substance abuse and addiction through the use of education, work, counseling, partnering with local churches and the knowledge of Jesus Christ. We aim to help people rebuild their lives. The Program: Crossover ministry is an eight month recovery program, which includes four months of residential treatment and four months of aftercare. Although residents have constant supervision, Crossover Ministry is not a “half-way” house or a lock down facility. Crossover Ministry provides both a working and a study environment. Along with daily Bible studies and classes about scriptural principles for overcoming addiction, residents will learn valuable life skills and have the opportunity to participate in GED preparation. About Crossover: Crossover Ministry is non-profit, faith based recovery ministry based on scriptural principles about addiction and sin. It is a free-of-charge, voluntary service intended for those who are truly serious about overcoming their addiction. Funding: Crossover Ministry is not government funded. Funds are primarily obtained from local churches, companies and individuals who are concerned about addictions. Residents: Men and women are housed in separate facilities and operate on opposite schedules. Due to space limitation, residents of Covington County are given priority. However, residents from other counties will also be considered and welcomed. The Crossover clients operate the garden/produce stands, lawn service and clean various churches to help support the ministry. In addition to what the clients do, Crossover has two fund raisers per year, the Banquet in April and the Auction in August. We are totally dependent on God and the community for our support.
