DEAR UNCLE JOHN... for many years you have been here for all of us you were a hard worker,strict in many ways, you built a round house with ur hands married my aunt and had great boys, you taught me to ride a bicycle, years went by then taught me care and control of farm eqipment how to drive a snowmobile,dirt bikes anf farm tractors you taught me how to pull logs out of the bush to get ready to send to the mill to build your home, you taught me late at night bandsaws out in the bush were not ghosts and i could get out of my locked car at any time lol you taught me the love of a tom turkey was our dearly beloved pet,you scared the hell out of my old grandma gibbs when you put a cooked baby pig head and all on the table for a family get together,and when she yelled JOHN you said its ok and stuck a apple in its mouth,the memories I have are endless and thank you for always being there for every one when some famiilies fell on hardship u were ther to pick them up and of course my dear aunt marg as well was ther for every one and still is!! there comes a time when we all get older and the good lord says its time to rest,its time to move over and let the younger ones take over uncle JOHN i love you and we kno cancer is so bad and some day they will find a cure, I LOVE YOU UNCLE JOHN!!! Phyllis Humphrey this was written before he passed on rest in peace uncle John Darlene Lewis-Mabey rest in peace uncle john ....many good memories over the years growing up and u were always a big part of that. going to ur house at Sydenham as a teenage girl and visiting and having a meal with you and Ollie, and the help u gave me while I was living there, and lets not forget the horseshoes..lol I always was a lousy shot but I tried.. never could beat ya..lol u were a little gruff but always kind.. and this pocohantas will miss you ... hugs to auntie marg.. scott, john and marco . remember the good times, because in the end its what sustains us My mother has more company in heaven .
