DECLARATION OF ORIGIN I, FRANK OLISEDUMKWU OFILI (M), Christian, of Plot 114 Fatai Atere Way, Matori Industrial Estate, Lagos, citizen of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, do hereby declare on oath and state as follows: 1. That I am the above named person and declarant herein. 2. That I am a native of Illah Town in Oshimili North Local Government Area of Delta State. 3. That Oshimili North Local Government Area is situated in Delta North geopolitical zone, otherwise known as ANIOMA. 4. That Anioma comprises 9 Local Governments namely: Oshimili North, Oshimili South, Aniocha North, Aniocha South, Ika North East, Ika South, Ndokwa East, Ndokwa West, and Ukwuani. 5. That Anioma has five (5) distinct dialects namely: Enuani, Ukwuani, Igala, Olukumi, and Ika 6. That communities, towns and villages in Anioma speak any of the dialects mentioned in (5) above; and that historically these communities, towns and villages trace their origins to different parts of Nigeria. For instance, Ebu community in Oshimili North Local Government, speak Igala. They trace their origin from the present-day Kogi State. 7. That over the years there has been misconception, misrepresentation and misunderstanding that the whole of Anioma is Igbo; and to that extent I have been erroneously considered as an Igbo man. 8. That I now make this affidavit to put the record straight and to clarify that I am not an IGBO MAN 9. That I further state that I am an ANIOMA MAN and wishes to be called, known, addressed and considered as such. 10. That all other documents as they related to me remain valid 11. That the general public should please take note. 12. That henceforth anyone who calls me an Igbo/Ibo man defames me and shall be liable to legal action. 13. And that I make this solemn declaration in good faith, believing same to be true and correct in accordance with the Oath Laws of Lagos State of Nigeria 2003 Frank Ofili
