DEMYSTIFYING THE ADMIN TEAM I would like to bring to the attention of our members, and especially the new ones, that we do have a team of dedicated Administrators who watch over this ministry day and night. Their work is quite demanding and although you may not see some of them actively involved in discussions, they do alot in the back office. The Team comprises of: 1. Mrs. Rose Kyalo 2. Suzanne Nyamory The Team works under well laid out Guidelines and make a commitment to adhere to the Guideline before one is brought on board. GUIDELINE FOR ADMINISTRATORS Thank you for accepting to be an Administrator of this FB Church. We must caution you that this is not an easy assignment. We however believe that your coming on board will go a long way in adding value to the body of Christ. Before you are confirmed as an Admin., please go through the Qualifications and Roles and confirm that we can proceed to confirm you as an Administrator of this Church. 1. QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS FOR ADMINSTRATORS All Administrators MUST be born again and meet the qualifications as stated in Timothy 3:1-13 1 Here is a trustworthy saying: Whoever aspires to be an overseer desires a noble task. 2 Now the overseer is to be above reproach, faithful to his wife, temperate, self-controlled, respectable, hospitable, able to teach, 3 not given to drunkenness, not violent but gentle, not quarrelsome, not a lover of money. 4 He must manage his own family well and see that his children obey him, and he must do so in a manner worthy of full respect. 5 (If anyone does not know how to manage his own family, how can he take care of God’s church?) 6 He must not be a recent convert, or he may become conceited and fall under the same judgment as the devil. 7 He must also have a good reputation with outsiders, so that he will not fall into disgrace and into the devil’s trap. 8 In the same way, deacons are to be worthy of respect, sincere, not indulging in much wine, and not pursuing dishonest gain. 9 They must keep hold of the deep truths of the faith with a clear conscience. 10 They must first be tested; and then if there is nothing against them, let them serve as deacons. 11 In the same way, the women are to be worthy of respect, not malicious talkers but temperate and trustworthy in everything. 12 A deacon must be faithful to his wife and must manage his children and his household well. 13 Those who have served well gain an excellent standing and great assurance in their faith in Christ Jesus. 2. ADMIN ROLES These are some of the key roles of an Admin: a) Actively participate in and guide discussions/debates b) Add new members c) Approve posts d) Remove stray posts e) Warn errand members f) Guide debates g) Sound out the Elders incase of any concerns on ongoing debates h) Provide a platform for conflict resolution i) Address concerns raised by members j) Provide biblical leadership and order when it comes to issues posted on the wall k) Mentoring other members of the church l) Provide spiritual growth to young believers m) Encouraging members and especially those that are going through hard times n) Appreciate members when they do a good job o) Pray for fellow admins, elders, pastors and the church members p) Participate in counselling members who may be in need q) Provide support to fellow admins when the need arises r) Planning and facilitating events s) Evangelising to members t) Advise the Elders on Members who need to be completely banned from the church u) Any other responsibility as the Lord leads 3.
