DESPAIR SHORTS among strongest at 2014 WFF The 2014 Woodstock FIlm Festival will be presenting 12 shorts program. WFF’s NARRATIVE SHORTS programming has featured an amazing array of emerging filmmakers who have gone on to make feature films. Some of the many filmmakers who have gone on to make inroads in the industry include Benh Zeitlin (Beasts of the Southern Wild), Cary Fukunaga (Sin Nombre, Jane Eyre, True Detective), Andrew Okpeaha Maclean (On the Ice), Rob Meyer (A Birders Guide to Everything), Luke Matheny (Lovesick) and two filmmakers who will screen debut features at the 2014 WFF: Shawn Christensen, whose feature film debut Before I Disappear (based on his Academy Award® and WFF winning short Curfew), and Leah Meyerhoff with I Believe in Unicorns.
