**DONATION REQUESTS FOR THIS WEEK** Can be brought to Stirling - TopicsExpress

**DONATION REQUESTS FOR THIS WEEK** Can be brought to Stirling Pavilion, Wayville Showgrounds 9:30-2pm, Rose Tce entrance through car park 2 boom gate (30 mins free parking). Another busy and productive day today. Weve been contacted by 12 new affected families in the past 24 hours. Just because the official number of homes lost is less than 30; there are many more properties severely affected by this fire. Fences burnt or damaged, sheds and outhouses lost, trees and grass burnt, smoke damaged homes...no one is treated as less or more urgent. We are here to assist ANYONE with property affected by the fires and we do our best to meet needs as immediately as possible. The focus now is recovery and rebuild. If you want to volunteer hands on then contact BlazeAid. These guys are amazing. Register to rebuild fencing, contact the camp leader so they know when to expect you (all details on their website) many hands make like work. You do need your own tent/caravan/motor home to live in at camp, but many hands make light work. What Blazeaid do is amazing, they provide FREE labour to erect new fencing; BUT the materials must be provided by the property owner. This is expensive and often not covered by insurance. What we need is donations of: Fence posts Vineyard posts 2mm cattle mesh Staples Fencing wire Fencing tools This will allow us to make sure properties have what they need on hand so Blazeaid can do their work! If you want to help, but unsure of materials; then hardware store vouchers would be amazing so we can make sure all affected property owners have the correct materials so fences can go up quickly and their stock can be returned to them promptly! The other best donations now are: Food, non perishables and perishables Garden tools Chainsaw oil Rakes Shovels Cleaning products Gerry cans (filled with Diesel or unleaded) for generators and power equipment The South Australian spirit amazes me every day, this is only the beginning of the recovery, and we are here to assist long term in any way needed. Thank you for all of your continuos support!
