DPWH resumes EDSA road repair Published: August 30, 2013. Latest update: August 30, 2013. From the Department of Public Works and Highways The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) resumes its concrete reblocking and road repair activities along Epifanio Delos Santos Avenue (EDSA)—covering two sections in Caloocan City and another two Sections in Quezon City—from 10:00 p.m., Friday (August 30, 2013), until 5:00 a.m. of Monday (September 2, 2013). In Quezon City, the affected road sections are the Northbound lane of Balintawak MRT Station to Caloocan Bdry. (5th lane) and Southbound lane from JAC Motors to Culiat Bridge (affecting 1st and 4th lane); while in Caloocan, repairs will be conducted in the Southbound lane of Monumento Circle (5th lane) and the Northbound lane from 711 Convenient Store to MCU Hospital and Bonifacio Market to Monumento Circle. DPWH is also undergoing road repair in the Northbound lane of Bayani Street to Kapiligan Street along Araneta Avenue in Quezon City. DPWH apologizes for the inconvenience caused by the necessary road rehabilitation project as he urged private car owners to map out alternate routes in advance and make plans while commuters should leave earlier to avoid delays
