This is my second time to share this in two days but each time I see it I am more moved and personally touched by it ........its a beautifuly horrific portrayal of the inner battles that rage daily in the mind of those suffer from various diseases that affect the human brain in a society where the brain is viewed more often as an abstract concept than as a tangible concrete organ vital and necessary to sustain human life. We encourage the public to take free cpr classes at the local ymca and airports now come equipped with public defibrillators in case of cardiac arrest. But when a fellow passenger on the elevator or a co worker, partner, or best friend is suffering within themselves with enough intensity to manifest physical symptoms, many of which cause lasting harm and result in premature death (high blood pressure and ironically heart disease being among the top) we disregard them, tell them to cheer up, get over it, stop being dramatic, or god forbid suggest that its all just in their heads....lol....love that one...cause yes matter of fact my brain is located within my skull or head as suggested. It is the most complex and vital organ in the entire human anatomy. Your heart can beat machines can breathe for you but if your brain is dead you are dead. Its the least understood part of a person and conditions and treatment are a guessing game at best. Put yourself in someone eless shoes and dont judge what you dont understand. Just cause you cant see it dont mean it aint real.
