Don’t go to the cafeteria. LIBRARY NEWS-- The Book Fair will be arriving today! Be sure to take care of any library business EARLY today, because when the Clifford Truck delivers the cases, the library will close and not re-open until tomorrow. No exceptions! Lost & Found items have been on display in the lobby for over a week. Unclaimed items are now available for any student to take home. 7/8 Football Awards will be held next Wednesday, Nov. 19 at 6:45 pm at the BHS cafeteria. Accelerated Reader News -- Any of the 8th grade AR prizes not picked up at noon today (Draven Gaittan, Ryan Siewell and Kelsey Brokaw) unless you are absent, will be forfeited. Bandon High School Class of 2018 is selling Bandon Tiger apparel. T-shirts, crewnecks and hoodies are available in heather gray with black print – price range is $10 - $25. Order forms are available at the office window. Make checks payable to Bandon High School. Turn in orders and money to the HLMS office no later than Wed, November 19. 7/8 Girls: If you plan on playing basketball, please sign up at the office window. Practice begins in January after we return from Winter Break. The Scholastic Book Fair is coming to the HLMS Library this Friday, November 14 and continuing thru November 20. Book Fair Open House will be held Tuesday, November 18, 5 – 7 pm. AWESOME Students – please come by the office today to pick up your free pack of gum! 5th: Caleb Martin 7th: Kaitlyn Heitman NO CELL PHONES, iPODs, CAMERAS OR ANY OTHER ELECTRONIC DEVICE IS PERMITTED DURING SCHOOL HOURS!! All devices must be turned OFF and put in your BACKPACK (5/6 graders) or your LOCKER (7/8 graders) for the duration of the school day. NO EXCEPTIONS. If a staff member can SEE or HEAR your electronic device, you are not following the rule. The Good News Club, sponsored by Christian Evangelism Fellowship of Coos County, is available to middle school students. Students leave campus for one hour (during lunchtime) on Thursdays to attend sessions at Bandon Christian Fellowship, October through April. Some class time may also be missed. Interested students should pick up a flyer at the office window. This is not a school-sponsored activity. Calendar is subject to change without notice. Please check back frequently.
