Darrang college have no stone unturned to transform itself into a school in the past few days. Cant say how many more rules we have to follow. The college authorities say that we cant use our mobile phones in the college campus. Well, ok, but somethings i want these people to clarify if they are still in their senses and think about the good for us. You people say that one cant use mobiles inside the college buildings, classrooms or corridors and i respect that but what about this rule of not allowing use of the mobiles on the college field. Everyone may have some kind of emergency now and then. Its not possible to predict any sort of mishap and go running to your money-making phone to call and enquire about it. Lots of students are there who come from distant places or have other duties. They can get an emergency call about anything happening to their family, work or at home. They come to the college to study and have a little bit of fun. But the authorities are trying their level best to make the lives of the students miserable inside the college campus. Its a COLLEGE dammit, but i think that has been long forgotten. These past few days have been my worst days of college life. Got to hear from many students that from 16th august onwards our pockets and bags are gonna be searched for mobiles, not even the girls will be spared from this dishonourable thing. If this is true and thats whats going to happen in college than let me tell you that very dark days are coming in Darrang college. The outcome of all this will be very bad. I used to be happy to go to our college. Maybe i am not a guy with full attendance but i used to love going to college. But in the past few days the whole excitement of going to college is gone. This my last year in college and it hurts a lot to say that i dont like to go to college anymore. The college authorities are leaving no stone to implement more and more unjust, intolerable rules to turn the whole college into a kind of an educational prison. Hurts to even say it, but as the days pass all will realise it in time.
