Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor (pic) is fully aware that she is a target of malicious rumours, and has urged the public not to believe everything they hear or read. These people just want to topple the Government, but they cant get to Najib so they get to me. Dont believe everything you see or read online, said the wife of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak. She said this when addressing some 600 women delegates at the national-level International Rural Womens Day celebration here. Rosmah cited as examples nasty comments about her work with the Permata early childhood programme and allegations that she controls Najib. She said those who wished to have the correct information or seek clarification could write to her officer at the Prime Ministers Office. Despite the personal attacks, Rosmah said she was unfazed by them and would continue to champion the causes of women and children. Earlier, Rosmah praised the women for their active participation in cooperative activities. She said there were some 190 women cooperatives nationwide, with 50,000 members whose shares and assets amounted to RM180mil. She later presented RM10,000 mock cheques to Rahaiah Baheran, who won the co-operative best woman award, and to Koperasi Serbaguna Kaum Ibu Kubang Pasu Berhad for being the best women co-operative in the country.
