Day #19-A meme brought to mind my thankful for today--TEACHERS!! (See my post elsewhere for that meme.) I have been blessed in my life to have some amazing teachers--starting with my daddy who taught me to read before I entered first grade. I read a book that was one of his favorites, entitled Singing Wheels which he had read and re-read many times. I loved it, too. And it turned out to be my fourth-grade reading textbook. Mrs. Cantrell, Mrs. Graves, Miss Haddaway, Mrs. Dudley, Mrs. Bessinger, Mrs. Burris, Mrs. Lockyer, Mrs. Weddington, (and I’m sure I’m leaving some of my favorites out, but they are no less special) to you especially and to the many others I had all through school, THANK YOU for all that you did to make me an addict to learning. I am blessed beyond measure to have been your student . . . ♥
