Day 19 Wendy Update: Nothing new to report, Wendy is up and nonverbally communicating (cant verbally talk due to trach). She is in some pain due to her tach site being very red and inflamed and her tummy hurts from the stomach feeding peg. But over all doing pretty good. The insurance has still not responded to the hospital yet about her move to Kindred in Richmond. We are hoping to hear something soon, she needs their specialty care so they can get her well and free of the trach so she can come home. Please continue to pray for her.
