Day 2 of Grand Parents’ Day Celebration On the second day of Grand parents’ day celebration, the students of LKG and three sections of Pre-KG presented a cultural programme. The students sought the blessing of Almighty through ‘Shiv Stuti’. Different varieties of dances like ‘Folk Dance’, ‘Salsa Dance’ and ‘Gujrati Dance’ put up by them, indeed, enthralled the viewers. An action song presented by the students gave the message that the grandparents are our guiding force. The synchronization exhibited in ‘Modelling’ was really marvellous. With the purpose of keeping alive our rich Punjabi culture, ‘Bhangra’ put up by the tiny-tots was a treat to the eyes. It was a graceful display of the perfect movements of the budding flowers to the enchanting tune of musical instruments and was well received by the viewers, of course, the day was fun-filled and enjoyable and would definitely be a memorable one in the life of the grand-parents. The grand-parents enthusiastically took part in different activities like ‘Flower-Arrangement’, ‘Salad Decoration’, ‘Fireless Cooking’ and ‘One-Minute show’. The Principal of the school, Mrs.J.K.Sidhu thanked the audience for sparing their valuable time from their busy schedule. She also talked about increasing tuition trend these days and assured them that the school is extending all the necessary help to the children. She also urged them not to fall prey to the tuition menace and always keep communication channels open with their children.
