Day 2 of NYS math assessments and refusal numbers are skyrocketing. The parent movement is referred to as taking back education. Were trying to take education away from corporate reformers and big business and give it back to the teachers. Taking back the millions of taxpayer dollars spent on standardized testing and give it back to districts for staff, programs, and real education. Taking back grit and rigor and replace it with creativity and challenge. We are trying to give education back to the educators who know our children...keep up the pressure, parents! #takingbackeducation
