Day 223 - Its been a bit of an odd week really. I suppose with everyone around enjoying the festive period, I havent really wanted to impose. Saying that though, most I gave met have been really nice and supportive. I was offered a bed on Bute but decided not to take it as I felt like I was in the way and didnt want to feel like I was looking for charity for myself. I am walking for charity I admit, but really that is secondary to me. I am walking firstly for me and I dont want anyone to feel they need to be obliged to help me because I wear a banner. The posts I put on are not always going to be positive and happy but the pictures I put on are always going to be the best parts of my walk and I hope you enjoy them. I know a lot of people arent going to see what Im going to see in their lifetime but if the pics I put on here can give you an idea of the places to see and go, then Im happy! :-) Its all going quite quickly at the moment, Arran, Cumbrae and Bute walked already. Im close to Glasgow now and already looking forward to the next set of islands, need to walk about 300 coastal miles I think to get to them!
