Day +50 - 11/04/14 = Election Day Wow, I cant believe its been 50 days since I received my stem cells back. Im still feeling good overall and received the counts on my blood draw from yesterday. Ive not heard back from the NP in Chicago, the results show my white blood count is still low, but came up from the count 2 weeks ago. Then the results for red blood count, hemoglobin, and platelets are all back within the reference range. I am happy all looks good from my observation, but I will let the Chicago team be the ultimate judge. I know itll take close to a year for all the counts to become stabilized & where they were prior to going through the procedure. Ive been working with the home health PT techs several times a week for the last month & then doing some work on my own. Legs are doing better on some days, its difficult to manage everything and not get over fatigued where the PT work is not effective. I wanted to post a couple photos of the folks that made my time in the hospital so easy. Without them Im sure I would of made it but might of lost my sanity along with the hair.
