Day three...register again and pretty much was on my own as my boss and her assistant did some much needed cleaning and reorgainizing while I took care of those who came into the store. When I was leaving, Chevon, my boss told me that she made a good decision in hiring me, that I was awesome and she had been watching me all day and was happy to see that I am not a stander when there is no one in the store. I check on things, straighten things up, make coffee, put hot dogs on the grill, restock cups,etc and kept the floor clean. Yep, I am awesome and its not bragging when its the truth!! LOL I am in my element with my new job and even though I will miss the Lazy Pirate and the good times with my family there, I have no regrets in leaving, I will have benefits, retirement and I am investing in an emergency assistance fund for myself. Good things to come my way....
