Dear Colleagues, I am hereby reminding you of a session on literature and film that is part of the program at the next NeMLA Conference in Toronto (30 April-3 May 2015): Buttatemi giù qualche idea! Scrivere sul set (o lì vicino) The session examines novels, short stories, memoirs, plays, poems, and other genres of texts authored by those who have had a strong relationship to film production: directors, scritpwriters, actors, film critics, or other collaborators. We intend to recognize all possible analogies, interferences, and convergences between the written word and the film image in terms of forms of expression and/or collective imagery. All critical approaches are welcome. 250-word proposals are due by September 30 at the following link: https://nemla.org/convention/2015/cfp.html#cfp15230 (Even if the web description is in Italian, the section shall be equally in English and Italian.)
