Dear Comets, Our transitional year (2013-2014) concluded with the graduation of the 104th Class, the Classics of 2014. We are very proud of our young women and wish them happiness, joy, love, and success. This academic year was full of newness. For the first time in Sacred Heart High School’s history the leadership was not a Dominican Sister. Our first layperson, Mr. Raymond Saborio, had a tremendous job to accomplish. With the task of increasing enrollment and finding the funds to assist with Financial Aid, he has done a wonderful job. Working hand in hand with the Consultative School Board, the Alumnae Association, the Parent Leadership, and his fantastic Faculty and Staff, he is very confident that Sacred Heart High School will continue to thrive and will enable many young ladies who desire a single gender Catholic high school education, in the Dominican tradition, to have the Comet opportunity. Thank you, Mr. Saborio for your dedication. Many things are now in place for Sacred Heart High School to succeed in the 21st Century. Long overdue, we now have a Marketing Director, Ms. Diana Rios, and a Development Director, Mrs. Celina Santiago. Both directors have accepted this tremendous task and have been tirelessly working for our school. We are now into our 107th year of educating young women in the Catholic Dominican tradition. Pledge to become an even more active member of Sacred Heart High School, enabling, empowering, and caring for our future Comets.
