Dear Daughter 003 – Part B, #mumtodaughterseries Thank you for coming today for another cup of tea. Kindly before you sit down, pour some tea for me. Now, let us pray, Father in the name of Jesus Christ, I come before you with thanksgiving in my heart. Thank you for the gift of life and for giving us this platform to be able to share of your greatness. Spirit of God as we start this session welcome amidst us. Touch our hearts that we may understand what you are saying and grant us the grace to walk in obedience to your word. Breath in me words of wisdom, words that will bring healing, restoration and courage in my daughters lives to live a life worthy of their calling. In Jesus name (Job 33:4)- The Spirit of God has made me, and the breath of the Almighty gives me life. Today I will share with Part B of the 3RD Room of your marriage which is PERSONAL BRANDING. In Part A, we addressed PURPOSE. This two go hand in hand. My dear, once you know your purpose, brand yourself. The reason why I have asked you pour tea for me is because branding is about serving-‘Serving with Excellence’. The term branding has long been relegated to companies, but I want you to know that each one of us is a personal brand. You are unique, created in Gods image, with a unique purpose that only you can fulfill. Branding means; living a life worthy of your calling. My daughter being a wife is a ministry, which God has called you to serve faithfully with all diligence for the glory of His name. In marriage you become one, therefore you are to relate with your husband in unity for you are one body. (Genesis 2:23)- The man said, This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called woman, for she was taken out of man. (Ephesians 2:10) - For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. (Ephesians 4:1-7) - As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. 2 Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. 3 Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. 4 There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism; 6 one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all. But to each one of us grace has been given as Christ apportioned it. My daughter, you cannot thrive in this ministry without humility and the only way to understand humility is by learning to submit to God first, before learning to submit to your husband. The beautiful thing is your relationship with Christ does not end when you get married, but it is the pillar that holds your relationship with your husband. As a Christian wife; you will have two very important covenants in your life. The 1st one is God’s love covenant and the second one is your marriage covenant. Our God is a God who honors covenants. My dear, when you choose to walk in the fear of God, you will experience the sufficient grace of God that will sustain this two covenants in your life. [A bride needs to learn to be a bride to Christ first, before she is a bride to her husband] (Isaiah 54:5) For your Maker is your husband, the Lord of hosts is his name; and the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer, the God of the whole earth he is called. My daughter, if you don’t grasp this concept before you walk into your marriage then how will overcome the storms when they strike? Life is in seasons, some seasons are fruitful and others can be quite challenging. (Ecclesiastes 3:1). To thrive in these storms you have to allow God to be the builder of your home. This is by sustaining an intimate relationship with God. To all my daughters out there: Now, I have noticed some of you have laxity in serving God. What happened? I want you to take some time today and rededicate yourself to serving God as you did before. This is what the Lord says: (Jeremiah 2:2) - “Go and proclaim in the hearing of Jerusalem, Thus says the Lord, “I remember the devotion of your youth, your love as a bride, how you followed me in the wilderness, in a land not sown. Part 3B to be continued……See you tomorrow evening for another cup of tea With love and compassion. #thebibleinspiresme - Rebuilding the broken walls in our homes.
