Dear Dylan and Josie, The below was my fb post on Feb 14th this year on the windiest evening of the year Nathan and I joined you all to share in the celebration of your mum and dads marriage, I have never seen a bride radiate such happiness and pride, Laura, you were simply bursting with it. Your mum was a very special lady, we moved to Maldon nearly 2 years ago now from Bedfordshire and we remember so clearly standing outside Tiger classroom eagerly waiting for Elliott to come out to tell us how he had done on his first day, when this very glamourous lady whooshed over to us and said “you must be Elliott’s Mummy and Daddy, I’m Laura, my daughter Josie is in Elliott’s class, and who is this cheeky little boy here?” and that was just the start of it……………….your mum made us feel so welcome at a time when everything was new and different and we didn’t know anyone. Ethan (Beefy) loved you to bits and would seek you out everyday, whether it was just shouting Laura as we drove past in the car or running to you for a cuddle . I feel that this quote perfectly captures what our family feels about your beautiful mum Each Life touches this world in a way no others can, leaving not only wonderful memories, but lasting imprints in our hearts, We only knew your mum for a short time but she has left lasting imprints ……….we will remember the glamourous, beautiful, kind, caring, thoughtful, empathetic, honest, bubbly, charming Mrs D who always thought of others before herself. Dylan, Josie and Jake we send all of our love to you, especially today xxx
