Dear Friends (Meeting Post + Major breakthrough), I am in Dehradun to attend tomorrows important meeting, scheduled from 3:30 pm- 5 pm, Gandhi Park, Rajpur Road. Everyone, is requested to join in, even those who have never come before (Details @ 8923878002). My intention was to surprise everyone; but was myself pleasantly surprised by the following news. Our battle for reviving the streams of Doon Valley has got a major boost with the Leader of Opposition Shri. Ajay Bhatt openly coming out in support of MADs long standing campaign to revive Doons streams. He has written to Honorable Chief Minister (who himself as Union Cabinet Minister of Water Resources had supported our demand) in support and has asked him to direct NIH to release their report on the state of dying streams of Dehradun. With both the main political parties (BJP & Congress) top brass backing this project, we see no cause for further delay and demand swift action to bring back Rispana and Bindal.
