Dear Friends: We do not want to build stand alone educational institutes in the capital city of Andhra Pradesh. we want to build top 100 level university in the world. It should be a Liberal arts multidisciplinary student cetered residential research university. Faculty recruitment should be based on the research capability world wide. Nortth India, South India, East India and West India. It will yield amazing results generating highly productive people --- Doctors, Engineers, Artists, Leaders, Entrepeneures, Scientists, Noble Laurettes, Journalists, Business Administrators, Prime Ministers, Chieh Ministers, Writers, Economists and others. I am assuming a new university will be built in the new capital of Andhra Pradesh. Try to to get funds for IIT, IIM, Agricultural University and a central University from the Central Government. Let state government allot funds. Raise public endowments for the university --- worldwide. Build a Liberal arts multidisciplinary student cetered residential research university unlike any other university in India. Let Admissions take place at the B. A, B.Sc, B. Tech, M.B.B.S levels right after the Intermediate (12th grade, not talking about criteria here) into all areas of specialization. Let it be a total residential campus (Hostels and Meals for every Student) with full fledged sports facilities. The university includes all post-graduate programs up to PhD, including M.D-Ph.D. A super specialty hospital at the level of AIIMS has to be planned. The University is divided into following colleges with a total strength of 25,000 students with full time research faculty of 3000. Research has to be done by faculty to motivate the students. Presence of graduate students motivates the undergraduate students as well. Set up the Administration as Public Sector unit headed by Board of Trustees headed by a Chairman. The chancellor will be the head of the university (Primary responsibility to raise the funding) assisted by Vice Chancellor – Academic Affairs etc. The following colleges are recommended and headed by Deans. 1. College of Agricultural Science 2.College of Architecture and Urban Planning 3. College of Arts , Literature, Public Affairs and Social works 4. College of Audio,Visual Performance (Music, Drama, Dance and Film) 5. College of Business 6. College of Dentistry 7. College of Education 8. College of Engineering 9. College of Information Science 10. College of Journalism 11. College of Law 12. College of Medicine, Public Health, Nursing and Nutrition. 13. College of Sciences, Pharmacy, Natural Resources and Environment. 14. College of Veterinary Science
