Dear Future Wife, Just wanted you to know I’m thinking of you and to let you know not a day goes by you are not in my thoughts or on my mind. When we are finally together I don’t want a single day to pass by where you and I don’t smile or laugh at each other. If the truth be told I’m already smiling thinking about us and our future life together. I want you to know that I am a man so secure in himself enough to post his feelings, his thoughts, his deepest wishes and desires in a respectful, loving manner, spiritually and deeply. I do this so that you will know how in love I will be with every single thing about you. I can’t wait to meet you or maybe we already have met. If so let’s meet again and this time let’s make it permanent. The other night while watching the movie “Waiting to Exhale” I noticed that most people would think that this movie was about four African-American women trying to find their significant other. But the core of the story, however, is about their search for someone whom they can love and trust enough to be true to their authentic selves. I realize finding that special someone that you can totally relax and be yourself with is so important and gratifying. I guess in my own way, I am waiting to exhale, waiting to take that long deep breath and exhale knowing I have found my true soul mate. And as my soul mate I want to make sure you are as comfortable in my life as I will be in yours, because I want to make sure you’re happy every second we are together. There is so much I want out of life, mainly to please God with my service and to be happy and have a life with you. Therefore, I have created my own bucket list of things I want us to do together. First of all, I hope you enjoying holding hands because I certainly do and I look for the day that I can hold and squeeze yours while we are walking. I want to introduce you to my family and friends, take you to Church, to dinner, to shows, on picnics, and for us to do some traveling to our own special hideaway, just the two of us. I want to open your doors, pull out your chairs, and have you walk beside me hand in hand as you lean your head on my shoulder. And there you will be at ease knowing that you are at the safest place in the world. Lastly, one thing I will do every day and that’s a promise, is to tell you I love you, when I do say it, you will know that I mean it, because the words will come from deep within my heart and soul and it won’t be just another sentence between us, but something real and sincere. I want you to rest easy knowing I’ll do everything within my powers to make you happy. And to make sure you know how beautiful, perfect, and loved you will be as my wife. Love, Your Future Husband
