Dear Google: Recently I’ve seen Doodles that honour exceptional persons such as Simone de Beauvoir, Marie Curie, Maria Callas, Carlos Fuentes, and artists like Andy Warhol, and Frida Kahlo; also Human Rights defenders such as Martin Luther King, Mahatma Gandhi, and Cesar Chavez have been receiving a very special Doodle. And recently even the Rubik Cube had his own Doodle, therefore I would like to request you to please make a Doodle to celebrate the Dalai Lama’s 79th birthday, next July 6th 2014. He is an inspiration to millions of people around the world, of all religions and all races, his compassionate mission about peace and harmony between human beings was awarded in 1989 with the Peace Nobel Prize; and also he has been conceded with the Honorary Canadian Citizenship, and the Gold Medal of the United States Congress, as well as the Medal of National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), and he received the keys of Mexico City in 2004. The Dalai Lama has received several Doctor Honoris Causa Degrees from different institutions around the world. Nowadays, the Dalai Lama might be the very last living moral leader such as Mahatma Gandhi, Martin Luther King, Mother Teresa of Calcutta, or Nelson Mandela were not long ago and , that’s why I believe he deserves a Doodle too. I’m sure that Google shares the ideals of Freedom and Justice the Dalai Lama defends and promotes all over the world. I trust that you will not let pass this chance for us to honour this extraordinary man, His Holiness the Dalai Lama, the great inspiration to millions of human beings around the world. Google, please, give us the Doodle Via Iraís Pj An international campaign, led by Tibet supporters in Mexico
