Dear HOPE Family, In 6 weeks, a team from HOPE Academy will be leaving for the Dominican Republic. We are representing our wonderfully loving and compassionate HOPE family to the impoverished families of the Dominican Republic. We need your help! There are several ways that you can be a part of our team: 1.PRAY: Please print out a copy of the attached prayer calendar and join us in prayer each day! 2.DONATE: I am also attaching a list of items that we are collecting. If you can send in any of the items on the list, it would be wonderful. You can prepare a bag for a child or baby in the hospital and help us share the love of Christ! Hospital Packets Fill a gallon size zip-lock baggie with some of the following items: Toothbrush Toothpaste Children’s vitamins Soap Candy Nutritious snack (crackers, fruit snacks, granola/protein bars) Crayons Stickers Coloring book Small toy/Stuffed animal Puzzle or card game Ball or jump rope Spanish Tract Spanish New Testament Solid Color T-shirt, children’s size Underwear (1 pair) New Mom Packages: • Baby hat • Baby socks • Onesies (1 newborn, 1 (3-6) months) • Pacifier • Bottle • Receiving Blanket • Washcloths • Diapers (4-NB size) • Sanitary Napkins (for moms) • Nutritious Snack (for moms) 3.GO TO THE MOVIES! We have a very exciting fundraising opportunity that will both bless our team AND your family. We have vouchers available for the new Son of God film that premiers February 28th. These vouchers are good for admission at ANY theater, ANY show time, and they do not expire until May. We are asking for a minimum donation of $5 per ticket. The admission at most theaters is more than $12…so you could pay significantly less by purchasing your tickets from us. We ask you to consider the amount you would like to donate and the number of tickets you need. Send in your donation with your name, your child’s name, and number of tickets OR buy in the school lobby between 8-8:30. Thank you in advance for your support!
