Dear Heavenly Father, thank You so much for a new day in our lives that we can wake up and praise You for the wonderful blessings You bestow upon us. Help us to recognize those blessings and not dwell on the negative things that happen in our lives. You tell us that all things work together for good to those who love You and are the called according to Your purpose. That is what is so exciting, Lord, to know that You have a purpose for each of our lives. I know bad things happen, but You take those things and use them to good for our lives. They may be stop signs, to save us from hurting or killing ourselves. They may be guidelines to warn us from making poor decisions. They may be things that are allowed to help us grow in our walk with You and reveal Your love for us. Coincidence, I dont think so. All things happen for a reason and we need to stop and ask You what the lesson is in them. It all comes down to trusting you, Lord, and I do. Lord, there are many people hurting today for one reason or another today . Please touch them with Your loving hand and bring healing to them. Bring Sonshine back into their lives as you have for me so many, many times. I love You, Lord, and it is a new day to serve You in however I can. I am open to Your leading. In Jesus name, Amen.
