Dear Investors, My friend Shirley Parks just told me this: Had to laugh at this. My financial adviser lives out of state. He called me about investing in a municipal fund that is both Federal and State tax exempt with great returns. I was getting excited about it until he mentioned the number one bond in the portfolio was something called HSR authority....He said....Im not sure what it is but I think it has something to do with a high speed train. I told him that as good as the fund sounded I couldnt morally invest in one that helped raise money for the HSR authority. Hes searching for another one for me.... So if your financial advisor tells you about the HSR (High Speed Rail) Authority Municipal Bond, aka Franklin California High Yield Municipal Fund as a potential investment I hope you will pass on it.
