Dear Jessica, Jake, and Lilly, Nearly four years ago, on the - TopicsExpress

Dear Jessica, Jake, and Lilly, Nearly four years ago, on the night before my dad had his first chemo treatment, I prayed and asked God to give me some sort of sign... anything really, but specifically something that I could hold on to that would comfort my heart and his as the precisely designed weapon created to go in and attack the cancer cells was about to enter his body. Almost in an instant, God gave me this acronym for chemo: *Christ Has Everything Miraculously Ordered* I held on to this promise every step of the way and it gave me so much peace in knowing that the same God that created the Heavens and the earth also created every cell in our bodies. God loves Lilly and He wants to heal her little body and bring her home. The road ahead will be difficult, but remember... nothing is impossible with God! Keep reminding yourselves: cancer is the little c but Christ is the Big C! For the past 4 years Ive wanted to create a graphic image of the acronym that God gave me for Chemo so I could share it with others who were going in with the same hopes and fears that I did. Tonight it was finally created-- just for your Lilly!! When I took this picture of this dandelion on Easter Sunday, I had no idea how iconic it would become in helping me create a picture of Hope just for you! I pray that this serves as a reminder of the community of people who love you, & are praying for Lilly and for you all over the United States, every minute of every day! My prayer for you and Jake, as you prepare for tomorrow when your precious Lilly undergoes her first chemo infusion is that God brings you both an undeniable sense of peace & that God will attach His healing power to every single molecule of the chemo meds, and goes straight in and does exactly what it was created to do. Love you friend!!
