Dear Richard, (( PLEASE SUPPORT AND DONATE TO CONG. PETERS FOR THE SENATE )) Around here we talk about momentum a lot. In fact, you’ve probably heard us talk about it before, too. But in a race as close as mine, while the polls are in the single digits and the special interests are running TV attack ads against me -- momentum is everything. The way to make sure that we’ve got the momentum we need to win come next November is to keep our Michigan grassroots team healthy. This month we’ve got a big goal to reach: $25,000 by October 31st, and anything you can contribute goes a long way towards hitting that goal. Donate $5, $10, or whatever you can afford to help us continue growing our grassroots network. Our state is just beginning to recover from some very tough economic times, and Michigan families have worked too long and fought too hard to see outside special interest groups and extreme Tea Party Republicans throw away all the gains we’ve made in recent years. That’s why I need your help -- my race is only going to get closer in the months ahead, and I’m counting on your support to fight back against the special interest groups that are already on the attack.
