Dear Tan Sri Khalid, Whatever your recent moves have been and will be, I wont question too much. I myself have been in leadership positions where I was falsely accused and grossly misunderstood. For all that you have done right for the state of Selangor, I not only thank you, but I think you deserve a chance to prove yourself once more, with whatever new alliances you have forged. One thing I ask is this. No. Three things in fact: 1) That the moral base of your character has not been compromised or altered but will continue to be steadfast so that you will lead the state with utmost integrity, putting the PEOPLE first, always. 2) That you will become even better after that steep learning curve these past few years and NOT fall into the legacy of past Selangor MBs where theyve started out really well only to become worse and worse, entangled by scandals and corruption. You will bring upon yourself and your political career a premature demise if you start compromising. Yup! It comes with the territory. 3) That you will not play partisan politics or the racial card to divide a very divided and therefore weak people already. Apart from that, you have my full support. As a Christian, it is my duty to respect and honour you; and to uphold you in prayer for your benefit and the benefit of your constituents. As a Selangorian, I ask that you will raise the red and yellow flag to new heights so that we become a SHINNING example and an exemplary State. As a Malaysian, I ask that you demonstrate that good things are able to come out of bad, even in these dark days. Please do not forget the adage that says, Politics means, no permanent friends, no permanent enemies, only permanent interest. So please keep OUR interests, and not that of your political friends, closest to your heart!!! And with that I sincerely thank you for all that you have done and I wish you Gods choicest blessings for your continued leadership!!!
