Dear William, If there’s one thing I care deeply about, it’s preserving our way of life in the West. I’ve been passionate about the great outdoors my whole life, and whenever I’m lucky enough to spend time in Colorado, it reminds me of how hard we must work to protect our clean air and water. And while many in Congress seem to be more worried about scoring a partisan point than tackling real issues with true commonsense and bipartisanship, Mark Udall has risen above the fray. He has followed in the footsteps of his father and my good friend, Mo Udall, to lead Colorado toward a better future. I’m proud to know the Udall family and to call Mark a friend. And I’m prouder still that we share priorities like protecting the West’s beautiful open spaces and addressing critical issues like wildfires and climate change.
