Dear exchange students, Dear local students, On Monday, 07-10-2013, the SALIS Languaculture Space opened its doors again in DCU. Languaculture Space? The Languaculture Space is a room where international and Irish students come together to participate in shared activities in a foreign language (French, German, Spanish, Chinese and Japanese). These are not teaching activities, but informal activities such as watching films, playing games etc. in one of those 5 languages. Get involved and become an Intercultural Ambassador! SALIS are pleased to introduce the Intercultural Ambassador certificate, which will be awarded to Erasmus or Year Abroad students who have led two or more activities in their mother tongue in the SALIS Languaculture space. We want to give you the opportunity to meet and interact with Irish students in your mother tongue. You can play games, watch films, listen to music, participate in other cultural activities such as origami making etc. These are but a few examples: it is entirely up to you what you would like to do!
