Dear family and friends... SO you THINK you have hit ROCK BOTTOM??? ... Do you realize that pathways... steps... bridges... monuments...and mountains can all be constructed from STONE... The very foundation you are standing on at your lowest is SET, STURDY, STABLE, and SECURE... Isnt ROCK a substance that is generally FOUNDATIONAL...ROOTED... FIRM...and UNSHAKABLE??? So what are you waiting for??? LOOK UP... the TOP is MUCH closer than it may appear... You may FALTER.. You may STUMBLE... You may end up flat on your face... BUT... even if you have to go see the wizard... Get yourself some (in my cowardly lion voice....COURAGE!!!...LOL)... BRUSH yourself off and WALK.... Those cute and wobbly little knees may take baby steps....but... ITS OK... THAT IS STILL PROGRESS... You CRAWL before we WALK... Now, with your HEAD held high, CHEST out, and your SHOULDERS snapped back...Do NOT be ASHAMED, DISCOURAGED, or DISMAYED...Take a look around... you are NOT the ONLY person in this place...Understand that some of the folks there are NOT READY to leave... They may try to KEEP you there...(love them but keep your distance) OPEN your EYES and take notice of your REAL allies, friends and family. You will recognize them by their open arms, extended hands, listening ears, sound advice, and their bent backs... Understand that the REAL folks do NOT have to be there with you... they LOVE you enough, that even at your UNDERMOST place, they are willing to meet you where you, are and except you UNCONDITIONALLY for who you are... so Dear friends, know that ROCK BOTTOM is NOT a PERMANENT place..and...with your newly found COURAGE don your face with a SMILE...then gracefully tell the CYNICS... DOUBTERS...SKEPTICS... and ONLOOKERS... It may look like ROCK BOTTOM right now but dont be confused Im on my way up and I by the way.... I was JUST VISITING.
